Early in the morning we travel in the support vehicle, bikers and bikes, up to a high pass at 4650m. From up here in the glaciated mountains of the Cordillera Real we start the stunning 5 hour descent down to the Yungas rainforest found at just 1100m in the La Paz region. Extreme contrasts are found on the improved route along a now abandoned road: you'll get to experience cycling through exposed crags, raw jungle and precipitous ravines. Biking adventure at its best.
