Trek Sillutinkara

"Walk along a section of the Choro Inca Trail, through an incredible variety of landforms, vegetation and altitude zones: from the Andean meadows to the 'Cloud forest' in the eastern Andes (home to the spectacled bear)"
  • Average daily trek: 6 hours

To join the many hamlets, towns and cities, the major pre-Columbian paved paths joining the key regions were supported by a network of hundreds of smaller tracks. The route of Sillutinkara is one of the myriad tracks that the Incas used to access the much larger Choro Trail, a major route which connects the glaciated mountains to the 'Cloud forest'.
