Trek Yunga Cruz

Like many other Inca trails it was once a trunk way of trans-regional commerce. Hundreds of llamas were used to carry produce from the Amazonian side to the high Andes and on to the Pacific coast and vice versa.

Itinerary

DAY 1: TO KALA CIUDAD. Car transfer and trek. Camp.

DAY 2: TO YUNGA CRUZ. Trek and camp.

DAY 3: TO SIQUILINI & APA APA PARK. Trek to the lush forest of Yungas. Car transfer and lodge.

DAY 4: VISIT APA APA PARK & RETURN TO LA PAZ. Birdlife viewing and car transfer to La Paz.

BRING: rain coat, sleeping bag, light gloves, fleece jacket, sun glasses, head torch, sun block, sun hat, binoculars, swimwear, vaccinations card, mosquito repellent, Malaria prophylaxis.
