Wildlife in the rainforest of el Jiri

The Yungas are located at the eastern flanks of the Cordillera Real. They are made up of a range of thousands of steep, jungle covered mountains found below the glaciated range. It is a warm and subtropical zone with rich biodiversity. It seems the Amazon.

Itinerary

DAY 1: Car transfer to Charobamba village and to the El Jiri Ecolodge. Viewing of exotic plants. Take part in local ways of cooking.

DAY 2: Bird watching. Travel by car to Tocaña (a black community) and to Coroico. Hotel.

DAY 3: Return to La Paz.

BRING: anorak, sun glasses, head torch, sun block, sun hat, swimwear, binoculars, mosquito repellent, vaccinations card and Malaria prophylaxis.
